Yana started her career in the entertainment world as a model at the age of 14. Her print and TV ads include such well known brands as Bobbi Brown, L’Oreal, Matrix, Citroen, BMW, Volkswagen, Huggies, Campbell’s, Audi, and Krka, along with many others.
Thereafter, Yana expanded to acting in both film and television, as well as working as an on screen anchor, reporter and journalist for a significant portion of her career. She has done live international broadcasting to/from UK, USA, Africa and Asia and performed for most of Russia’s leading media network companies such as Channel One Russia, NTV Channel, Russian Radio, MTV, CTC, VH1 and many others.
Working on promotional campaigns and hosting of international exhibitions and events ultimately lead Yana to take a significant role in organizing crew for The XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, as well as The Paralympic Games, as host, reporter, and on screen talent, writing a significant part of the material herself.
Yana has a Masters degree in Philosophy from Moscow State University, and additional degrees from The Moscow Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting, Pyatigorsk State Art School, and graduated high school in Pyatigorsk, Russia.
Yana splits her time between the United States and Russian.
Her English stage name GoodDay is a direct translation of her Russian name Dobryden which, litterally, means Good (Dobry) Day (Den)!
She is fluent in Russian, her native language, and English.
